A gentle but effective approach to bodywork and skin care. I offer a slow-paced, high-quality and personalized treatment that is intuitive. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and inviting. The focus is healing from physical imbalances and injury. You will be given a verbal evaluation, an assessment and treated for your areas of concern. Light-moderate pressure is used during massage sessions. You will leave feeling your body looser, lighter and your mind deeply relaxed. Specialties include maternity and pediatrics. In a leap of faith, I opened my practice in Boone, North Carolina on June 1st, 2024. Only four months later Hurricane Helene arrived and left a path of destruction on September 27th, 2024. I was blessed with donations and assistance from all over the United States, two local churches and new WNC clients which allowed me to continue operating. In exchange, I felt led to offer pro-bono appointments titled “Hurricane Helene Relief Massage” to help Boone and the surrounding areas recover. Using massage, those with deep emotional distress and physical pain from cleaning debris were provided relief. I’m grateful to report that from October 1 through December 31, 2024, forty one free massage sessions were provided to show love, compassion and support to the residents of Western North Carolina. This also helped my goal of supporting my business in this community. Together, we kept hope alive! Thank you to loving donations from Jungle and Grace Massage Studio in CA, Badass BodyWorkers Group by Rebecca Brumfield, Alliance Bible Fellowship in Boone, Blowing Rock Cares in Blowing Rock, NC and the members of Palm Vista Community Church in Miami, Florida and many other individuals for contributing to this mission—let’s continue serving one another! I went for a Labor Induction massage, when I was at 41+4 weeks. It was wonderful, very professional and very relaxing massage. The massage helped me to relax and I went into labor the next morning. I can definitely recommend it!

I am blown away at the amount of pain relief Lumina Massage has given me! I felt improvement in my chronic shoulder pain after just one massage and was able to work out for the first time in years without pain. I feel like they listened to me and my body and are very knowledgable, professional, and genuine.

I felt comfortable and everything was explained. I didn't come in because of a specific injury, but because of soreness in my shoulders/back. It was sorted it out and I felt less tension in that area after the session.
